Australian Idol Star Ricki-Lee Coulter Reveals Surprise Meeting With Prince Harry In London Pub: ‘It Was So Surreal And Unbelievable’

Ricki-Lee Coulter revealed on Monday that she once had a surprise meeting with Prince Harry in a London pub.

The 37-year-old Australian Idol star said he visited the bar with his peers to see his friend Sam Sparro perform, and was surprised when the royals walked in.

“I went to the bar, and all of a sudden all these people started coming in, like people in suits who looked like they were from the Secret Service.” she told the I have news for you podcast.

‘I was like, ‘What is this? What’s going on?’ and then rumors began to surface that Prince Harry was coming.

Ricki-Lee was pleasantly surprised when the Duke of Sussex chatted with her for five minutes while they waited for their drinks.

The 37-year-old Australian Idol star said he visited the bar with his peers to see his friend Sam Sparro perform, and was surprised when the royals walked in.

“We introduced ourselves and just talked…it was so surreal and unbelievable. He was so down to earth and charming and cool,” she said.

It comes after Ricki-Lee opened up about her success after starting her career on Australian Idol in 2004.

The brunette beauty said the daily telegraph on Sunday, she is “very proud” of herself after nearly two decades in the music industry.

“I’m so proud to have sustained a career for almost 20 years and to have had all the crazy, wild, unbelievable success that I’ve ever had, but I’ve worked hard for it,” she said.

“I went to the bar and all of a sudden all these people started coming in, like people in suits who looked like they were from the Secret Service,” he said on the I’ve Got News For You podcast.

Ricki-Lee went on to talk about her new single On My Own, which is set to drop on March 31.

“Whatever has happened in my life, personally or in my career, the ups and downs, I know I’ll always figure it out,” he explained.

Ricki-Lee rose to fame after reaching the top 10 on Australian Idol in 2004.

It was ranked seventh and the talented performer has remained a music industry fixture ever since.

This year he co-presented the Channel Seven reboot with Scott Tweedie.

Ricki-Lee was then pleasantly surprised when the Duke of Sussex chatted with her for five minutes while they waited for their drinks.
