Young Australian golfer Harrison Crowe has revealed exactly why he wants his dad Tony to drink so much beer that he ends up in an ambulance as he debuts at this week’s Masters.
Crowe, 21, went viral last year when he illegally hit a ball on the 18th green at St Andrews from outside a famous Scottish pub.
Now, the popular Sydney amateur will join Adam Scott, Jason Day, Cam Smith and Min Woo Lee at the Masters for his win at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship last October.
Crowe has a deal with his support team, including his father Tony, that they should all have a beer if Crowe gets a birdie.
Crowe means it at Augusta and recently joked that his plan was to sink so many birdies that he would send his father home in an ambulance.

He later softened his comments, but insists the drinking rule is still in place with his team.
“It’s a birdie bear rule for most people in the house this week, yes,” Crowe told the News Corp.
“I think they’re doing it for themselves. The idea is to let these guys have as much of a good time as I did, without getting themselves into trouble too.
“I think having the guys there this week and all my family there makes things a little more normal.
“I think it’s a lot cooler to have those guys around.”
Tony and his drinking buddy did the same when Crowe played at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Thailand last year.
“Some days we had five or six [beers] on the course. That was during the round,” Tony admitted afterwards.
The talented youngster has had a good run into the opening round with Aussies Mini Woo Lee and Jason Day on Tuesday and Cam Smith and Adam Scott the following day.
