A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokesperson said nine crews were initially called to reports of a house fire in Maudsland at around noon on Monday.

Investigators are now working to determine the source of the fire.

The twelve-time winner of the Golden Guitar shares the house with his partner Nui and their two daughters, four-year-old Pepper and one-year-old Connie.

It is not known whether the family was home when the fire broke out.

He purchased the seven and a half acre property in September 2021 and renamed it Fangally Farm.

Explaining the name last year, Brand said: “My little three-year-old girl, since she probably turned two in the last year, she can't pronounce the word family. She says 'Fangally', so we named this place the 'Fangally Farm'.

“When you come to Fangally Farm, homegrown love is exactly the experience you will experience.”

Brand has also been nominated six times for ARIA and eight Top 10 ARIA albums.

He has also sold 600,000 albums in a 25-year career.

Brand won Dancing With the Stars in 2009 and married his professional dance partner Jade Hatcher in 2010 before the couple divorced in 2011.
