Australian actress looks unrecognisable as she shares sweet throwback childhood snap… but can YOU guess who it is?

She has made a name for herself in the film industry, starring in a string of hit films alongside A-list talents since she rose to fame in the ’00s.

And this Australian actress looked unrecognizable as she shared a childhood photo on Instagram on Monday.

Few would recognize the now famous Aussie name from the photo, which was originally shared by her husband on the social media platform to mark her birthday.

She beamed from ear to ear in the adorable school photo from her younger years as she reminisced about her childhood.

But can you guess who it is?

That’s right, it’s Brick actress Teresa Palmer.

The star, also known for her roles in Warm Bodies, Hacksaw Ridge and Lights Out, currently looked noticeably different from her younger years.

Her husband Mark Webber posted the sweet childhood photo to his Instagram as he paid tribute to his wife on her 38th birthday.

The director wrote in a caption, “This little sugar plum grew up to be my dream girl. Happy Birthday darling!!!

“Our kids are so lucky, your friends are so lucky and I’m so lucky. You are pure magic in everyone’s lives.’

The couple started dating in late 2012 after first meeting on Twitter when Teresa got in touch about a film Mark, 43, had directed.

The couple soon began writing letters to each other via email while on opposite sides of the US, before finally meeting and starting dating.

They tied the knot in Mexico in December 2013, just months before their first child Bodhi Rain, now ten, was born.

They welcomed three more children: a son Forest Sage, eight, and two daughters Poet Lake, four, and Prairie Moon, two. Mark is also father to son Isaac, 15, from a previous relationship.

In recent weeks, Teresa has been busy in Sydney filming the new series The Last Anniversary.

The show, produced by Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films and described as a drama, is the latest adaptation of novels by Liane Moriarty.

After the success of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, Nicole will collaborate again with fellow film producer Per Saari for the new project.

Liane published The Last Anniversary in 2006, and it is an intriguing story about a woman who inherits a house on a mysterious island.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2013, share four children together: Bodhi Rain, 10, Forest Sage, eight, Poet Lake, four, and Prairie Moon, two.

Nicole’s television adaptation is being filmed in Australia and will star a long list of talent from Down Under.

‘Australian accents, an Australian project with Australian accents for the world. This has been a long time in the making,” Nicole told the audience at the SXSW Festival in Sydney, as she confirmed she was working on the project.

She went on to say that she was thrilled to be working on another production based on a story by Liane because they have so much in common.

“She’s the same age, she has children, she’s been through similar things at different times. She has become a good friend,” the movie star said of the author.
