A series of cold fronts are expected to sweep Australia from west to east, bringing rain and cold temperatures across multiple states.
The band of cold weather will hit the southwest coast of Western Australia early Monday morning, before a larger second cold front will envelop the entire west coast on Tuesday afternoon.
Over the next week, minimum temperatures in Perth will struggle to creep past 20°C, with the mercury forecast dropping to 6°C on Monday and 8°C on Tuesday, Weatherzone reports.
A high chance of showers is predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday, with daily totals of up to 10 mm.

The cold fronts will bring ‘showers and gusts’ on Monday in the southern states of Australia, including Tasmania and southern Victoria.
However, onshore winds could allow rain to spread to Queensland and the north east coast of NSW, with the first rainfall in eastern NSW on Sunday afternoon.
Heavy rainfall is expected in the west and south of Tasmania for the next eight days.
An icy temperature range of 10°C to 16°C is forecast for Monday, before temperatures dip to 8°C and 14°C on Tuesday, with possible hail and westerly winds of up to 35 km/h.
Sydney’s Saturday reprieve from the winter chill was short-lived as showers hit the capital on Sunday afternoon, totaling 1-5mm.
A slight chance of rain is currently forecast for Sydney on Monday, with a high of 19C, rising to 21C on Tuesday, with minima between 9C and 11C.

As of Sunday afternoon, the Bureau of Meteorology had issued large-scale frost warnings for Monday morning.
Areas affected include Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland, with temperatures expected to drop to -1C.
Queensland will also get rain from the same, with onshore winds bringing rain to parts of Queensland’s coast on Tuesday.
Most of the showers will be felt on the east coast of the state, with rainfall of up to 4mm possible for Brisbane on Tuesday.
