Australia is on tsunami watch after a magnitude 7.6 earthquake near the Loyalty Islands, the Bureau of Meteorology has said.
There is a potential tsunami threat to Lord Howe Island.
Lorde Howe Island is 600km immediately east of Port Macquarie.
