Hollywood “it” couple Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber are not engaged after wild rumors circulated this week that they were.
On Thursday TMZ denied that Butler had asked for Gerber’s hand in marriage.
The fuss started earlier this week when it was claimed that the 31-year-old Elvis star proposed marriage in April.
It was also claimed that the 21-year-old Vogue model – who was seen this week in Los Angeles – happily accepted.
It was added that they did not want to make their plans to get married public.
The daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber and the popular actor have been dating since December 2021.

That’s when the rumor started Deuxmoi shared an Instagram post claiming the two would walk down the aisle.
And even though they have a 10-year age difference, Kaia’s celebrity parents have given the pair their seal of approval.
Followers weighed in.
Some pointed out that Austin dated Vanessa Hudgens, 34, for eight years from 2011 to 2019 without putting a ring on her finger.
Kaia was previously in a relationship with Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi from September 2020 to November 2021.
A source told Radar that Butler may one day imagine.
“These two are the real deal and Austin has even said he can see himself proposing in the future,” the source added.
