Aussie woman shares ‘life changing’ trick to do up shoelaces without tying them

A young woman revealed a 'life-changing' shoe hack that improved her quality of life within minutes – as thousands admit they struggle with the same problem.

Brittany Nash from Melbourne ruined all her shoes by kicking them off or slipping in them instead of tying her shoelaces.

However, the discovery of elastic laces has 'made a huge difference' in her life as she has replaced all her shoes with them.

'One thing about me is that I'm lazy and very bad at untying my shoelaces. When I take my shoes off, I just kick them off,” Brittany said in a video.

The no-tie laces are available from Amazon and several other retailers starting at just $7, and they take just a minute to install.

“Every time I buy a new pair of shoes, I also buy elastic laces,” Brittany said. “I'm not kidding, they changed my quality of life.”

The elastic laces come in individual strips and feature anchor hooks at both ends, making it easy to thread them through your shoes without having to make loops.

“They're all individual laces, so they're stretchy. All you have to do is take out your laces and put them on,” Brittany explained. “Honestly, you can't tell the difference.”

“Look how easy this is,” she said as she put on and took off her sneakers without having to do anything with the laces.

“On, ready, ready to go. Back home, gone, done. Gamechanger,” she raved. “I will buy this with every pair of shoes forever.”

Many shared their five-star opinions of the elastic laces online.

'I'm tired of having to re-tie my laces while wearing lace-up shoes. These silicone laces with tabs look nice and neat,” one person said.

“Really good if you hate big flimsy laces that detract from the look of new sneakers,” another added.

One woman said: 'I've literally never heard of this! I need to get some.”
