Aussie Uber driver exposes unthinkable question from female passenger: ‘Who gives her the right to judge’
An Uber driver was brutally questioned by his elderly passenger about his school results and career ambitions.
James Bade, 23, uploads dashcam videos of his interactions with passengers while working as an Uber driver to social media.
In a video posted Wednesday, he is seen driving an older woman, who then asks him a series of very judgmental questions.
The woman asks Bade what his ATAR rank in year 12 was. The rank determines the academic positioning of a student in relation to other students.
“How was your score at the end of the year?” the woman asked.
“Ehh, not great,” Bade replied awkwardly.
The passenger then pressed further and asked if it was ’70? 80?’, with Bade stating that he got ’65’.
“You did it,” the woman said bluntly.
“Yes, but that’s okay,” Bade said.
But his passenger thought differently and said, “No, it’s not okay. It’s damned.’
Bade, who seemed momentarily baffled by the woman’s brash claims about his school results, told her that he had “done well” in his final tests.
“You didn’t,” the woman continued.
Later during the ride, she began questioning the young man about his career aspirations.
Bade said he had “been doing real estate for a few years,” which gave him “some opportunities,” but that he enjoyed just driving Uber in the meantime.
‘Oh God. Well, you kind of have to get it done,” the older passenger said.
‘It’s together!’ the young driver hit back. ‘I’m always talking to new people and they give me new ideas for different things
The woman replied, “No, it’s not, my idea is to make it happen.”

The judgmental woman repeatedly told Bade he was having ‘s***’ with his education and urged him to ‘get it together’
Viewers of Bade’s video praised him for his patience with the judgmental woman and criticized her condescending attitude.
“Nothing like an older alcoholic telling someone else to get it together,” said one.
Another wrote: ‘I’m so sorry you had to deal with that…she uses your services and looks down on it at the same time. It’s insane. A job is a job.’
‘You are so patient and calm with her that I would have thrown her out. Who gives her the right to judge?’ added a third.
“I would have absolutely gone off on her,” another commented.
One joked that “someone’s Uber rating is about to drop.”
Bade’s video has been viewed more than 100,000 times.
