Aussie radio host reveals his one major complaint about Taylor Swift’s Era’s tour shows: ‘No concert needs that’
An Australian radio host has shared his one major complaint about Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour shows.
While 3AW star Tom Elliot called Swift’s performance at a Melbourne show ‘amazing’, he slammed the Cruel Summer hitmaker after her show lasted ‘way too long’.
“There was only one negative thing I would say about the concert: it was way too long,” Elliot, 56, said Monday morning.
“I admire that Swift can stand on stage and perform for so long three nights in a row,” he added.
‘But no concert has to continue for three and a half hours. Sometimes, Taylor Swift and all Swifties, less is more.”

The complaint comes after Aussie Swifties complained about an ‘annoying’ act by fans during the concerts in Melbourne.
Lee, from Victoria, recently started a debate about proper concert etiquette after a young fan held her arms in the air throughout the show.
The woman’s act blocked Lee’s view and prevented her from seeing Taylor perform at several points.
“Does this count as a limited view ticket?” she asked on TikTok, along with a video.
Australian fans are starting to complain about an ‘annoying’ act at Swift concerts
Lee said she politely asked the woman to try dancing with her hands down because she couldn’t see — but that didn’t work.
The superfan was angry because she had spent hundreds of euros on Eras Tour tickets and had been looking forward to the concert for months.
However, many criticized her for criticizing the other fan’s “normal” behavior.
“Part of going to a concert means knowing that no matter where you are, your vision will be limited most of the time,” one person said.
“Even the front row isn’t perfect because there are other people there. The arms will always be up and waving – and the artists will go anywhere in case of blind spots,” another argued.
A third said: ‘I don’t see anything restricting your view. I see someone having fun and a rights holder complaining about it.’
Another concertgoer from Melbourne said: ‘I loved that people were involved, it was so much fun. My entire environment danced and jumped around throughout the show. Was epic.’
But others sided with Lee and did not believe in the young woman’s “selfish” act.
“People need to learn concert etiquette. I understand she’s excited, but we still have to be respectful of your surroundings. Manners!’ wrote one.
“Listen, if I paid all that money and someone was constantly blocking my view, I’d be angry. We’re all here to have fun, BUT you have to be respectful!’ echoed another.
“You can dance and enjoy a concert without waving your arm the whole time,” one woman wrote.
‘I have back problems, so I can’t stand for long periods of time, or even sit for long periods of time, YET I still want to be able to see the artist. Is that so wrong?’ someone asked.
