Breakfast radio host Johnny Wilson was left reeling on Tuesday after a colleague revealed his baby news.
The Carins-based Johnny and Inkie Breakfast Show presenter had yet to reveal the exciting news to listeners and friends.
Jake, a street team member of the Star 102.7 show, said live on air, “There are a few people here, even people walking around with their strollers. Soon that will be you, Johnny, walking around with your little one along the way.”
Johnny was speechless when the news broke, “Uh… oh man,” he said as he dropped his head into his hands.
“Jake, no one knew Johnny was about to become a father,” his co-host Inkie Bissell chimed in.

‘Nobody knew that Jess [Johnny’s partner] is not pregnant yet. We didn’t announce it.’
“We all know internally, of course… J-Man didn’t announce the exciting news… so you just announced it for him,” she continued.
“That’s not quite how I wanted to do it, mate,” a shocked Johnny added.
Johnny’s partner, Jess, is 29 weeks pregnant.

The radio host spoke to news.com.au following the incident.
‘I was in disbelief. It’s funny now, but at the time it wasn’t that hilarious,” he told the publication.
“When I left yesterday, he took me aside too and said, ‘Look, I’m really sorry.’ I told him, “It’s okay, I know you feel bad about it.”
