Aussie punk band Amyl and the Sniffers drop uncensored version of new music video… complete with FULL FRONTAL nudity

Australian punk band Amyl and the Sniffers have released an X-rated clip for their latest single Jerkin’.

A censored version of the clip is available on YouTube, but the band has taken to their website to make a uncensored version without restrictions with a barrage of full frontal nudity.

The video begins with a content warning, telling viewers that the purpose of the clip was not titillation, but rather to promote body positivity.

“This video contains nudity and adult themes,” the warning read.

“The content is for artistic expression and body positivity, not for sexual gratification.”

The video then features frontwoman Amy Taylor belting out the tune, which includes lines like, “You’re a dumb motherfucker, you’re an a**ehole, every time you talk you mumble, you grumble.”

She is flanked by bandmates Bryce Wilson, Declan Martens and Gus Romer, who are joined by a series of male and female models who gradually undress as the song.

In a statement on the band’s website, director John Angus Stewart said he was dismayed by the offense some people take to nudity.

“The level of insult a vagina or penis can cause is absolutely bizarre,” he said. “Amy once said to me, ‘If the world wasn’t so rotten, I’d never wear clothes.’

He continued, “It’s the context we stamp on our sexual organs that makes them inherently ‘offensive.’ That’s why we wanted to remove the artifice and explore the body in an open, conversational way.’

The director added that the models were allowed to dictate the pace of the shoot.

‘From concept to crewing to casting, we [the production] allow the project to evolve in the most natural way so that our subjects can dictate their input level based on their comfort on the day,” he said.

“We learned what it was as we were making it, which is kind of the opposite approach I’m used to.

‘But because this idea was driven by people’s personalities, it felt wrong to do it any other way. ‘

He concluded by saying that the entire production left the shoot feeling the need to be “less prudish.”

“Just like someone’s perspective changes with an Amyl song, I want to change in the same way,” the statement read.

Australian dance-pop act Confidence Man has ‘nuded up’ for the video for their 2024 song I Can’t Lose You.

The clip features completely naked singers Janet Planet (aka Grace Stephenson) and Sugar Bones (real name Aidan Moore) performing the song in a helicopter flying over London.

The band performed the song naked, which, according to music historian Ian McFarlane, resulted in “dozens of irate callers having to jam the ABC switchboard for 30 minutes.”
