Why my Margot Robbie Suicide Squad face tattoo is the biggest regret of my life

An Australian mother has expressed regret after getting a face tattoo inspired by Margot Robbie’s famous Suicide Squad character.

Lily Wright, 28, has spent years sporting three face tattoos inspired by Margot’s portrayal of comic book character Harley Quinn.

Margot put her own spin on the deranged antiheroine with pink and blue dyed hair and face tattoos in what has become an unforgettable costume that has inspired many Halloween outfits.

And Melbourne mum Lily even got the same tattoos as Margot’s Harley: a black heart, a cross and the word ‘rotten’ on her cheek.

However, Lily has revealed that she “really regrets” getting the Suicide Squad-inspired tattoos because people judge her for them.

“I now regret getting my face tattooed so much. I need to get rid of it,” she said Yahoo! News while expressing her hope that they would get them removed.

‘I got into trouble with crime in 2016 and decided to get a tattoo on my face. I feel like I’ve been judged a lot for it… I feel like the tattoos are holding me back.’

Lily explained that she has distanced herself from criminal activity and has gone to rehab, and hopes that getting the tattoos removed will be a step toward finding work.

Tattoos can be removed with a Q-switch laser. This laser emits a strong pulse of energy that heats and dissolves the ink in the skin.

They can also be removed through surgery or skin treatments. However, any removal method is likely to leave scars or a change in skin color.

The treatment usually costs between $100 and $300 per session. Tattoo removal can take four to ten treatments. The total cost can be up to $3,000.
