Aussie man on Scoot flight from Perth to Philippines slaps passenger in the face in mid-air drama

Disturbing footage has emerged of an unruly passenger punching a man in the face, forcing other shocked travelers and flight crew to intervene.
The dramatic scenes unfolded in the air on Scoot Airlines flight TR396 from Perth to Manila on Friday and ended with the Australian man being escorted off the crowded flight by Philippine police.
After a stopover in Singapore, the man allegedly demanded drinks from cabin crew and verbally abused other passengers during the second part of the flight to the Philippines.
Footage filmed by a fellow traveler shows the man abusing others on the plane and ignoring the PA announcement for passengers to remain seated.
The incident escalates into chaos after he sees another man filming him and tries to grab his phone before punching him in the face.

Several passengers ran from their seats to intervene, leading to a series of punches.
Travelers helped flight attendants restrain the man, who was promptly thrown to the ground and then continued to kick upwards.
One woman who initially sat next to the 'loud and rowdy' man told before the incident The Western Australia his tirade lasted “hours” during both parts of the flight.
She eventually moved seats and alerted Scoot staff to the man's behavior during the layover in Singapore.
'The [Australian] hit him really hard and that's when it all started,” the woman told the publication.
“As soon as he got down, at least two other guys got involved and a few other guys kicked him to the ground,
After demanding drinks from staff, the man then punched another passenger before being restrained with zip ties and escorted off the flight by Philippine police.
She added that the flight attendants were “stressed” during the commotion.
“Some guys and flight attendants tied his arms and legs together and waited for the police to come.”
As police escorted the man off the plane, he was reportedly heard shouting, “Take me there for one-on-one.”
It is not yet known whether the man has been charged.
