A traveler was kicked off a Jetstar flight to Bali by police after he was caught vaping in the plane’s toilet.

The man had set off the plane’s smoke alarm before taking off on the flight from Sydney to the Indonesian hotspot on October 4.

Images of the passenger being removed from the plane by AFP officers have since circulated online, showing the man in a green shirt carrying his suitcase down the aisle.

“No vaping on planes guys,” the video caption reads.

Jetstar confirmed the passenger had been removed from the plane.

“Customers cannot vape on a plane, it’s as simple as that,” an airline spokesperson said.

‘The use of all types of e-cigarettes on aircraft is strictly prohibited.

‘The fume triggered the aircraft’s smoke detectors before departure and our crew called the AFP to assist in removing the passenger. Safety is our top priority and this type of behavior will never be tolerated by our crew.”

Incredibly, some people revealed in the comments that they had vaped on board flights and gotten away with it.

“Looks like he’s just inexperienced, I’ve never had any problems,” said one.

“I’ve done it so many times,” said another.

Others said it was “sad” that people couldn’t wait until they landed.

“The lack of self-control is astonishing,” said one.
