Aussie influencer left furious after company forced her to pay $9 in postage to receive PR package

An Australian influencer was furious on Monday after a company sent her a PR package without her consent and forced her to pay for the postage.

Alex Summer shared a video of the debacle to TikTok, saying she was advised by the post office to pick up a package waiting for her.

Upon her arrival, the young influencer had to pay $8.85 in unpaid postage to pick up a package she didn’t even know she received.

“I had no idea I was receiving this. I had no correspondence and I don’t really know how they got my address,’ she ranted.

“I get something in the mail telling me to pick something up at the post office. I take it and it has $8.85 leftover to pay.”

Alex went on to say that while it wasn’t a lot of money and she was “fine” paying it, she never agreed to receive a public relations package from the unnamed company.

Believing that the package could belong to her parents, Alex had to pay before finding out what it was.

She ended her video by saying, “Tip: If you’re sending PR to someone, make sure you pay all taxes and shipping.”

It comes after Alex revealed how she managed to lose eight pounds in just eight weeks.

Late last year, she said she went from 69kg to 58kg and from a size 10 to a size 8 after she ‘cleaned up’ her diet, started going to the gym and quit alcohol.

The health guru said she “feels phenomenal” after giving up booze and following a nutritious diet rich in fruits, vegetables and grains.

“I’ll have a cheat meal once a week or once every two weeks, but it was mostly about cutting out a lot of saturated foods and sugars that aren’t natural,” she explained on TikTok.
