Aussie female boxing star shows up at weigh-in topless causing tremendous unrest
Aussie female boxer appears TOPLESS at weigh-in with Aussie star Ebanie ‘Blonde Bomber’ Bridges told to ‘step up her game’
- Huge interest in Aussie female boxers online
- Showing meat earns them a lot of money
- Bridges pioneered ways to reach huge audiences
Ebanie Bridges is known for her body positivity and freedom, OnlyFans account, and boxing prowess. Now there is a new challenger.
Bridges, who smashed star rival Shannon O’Connell’s lights last December in a brutal eight-round show that retained her IBF world crown, has made money on the adult site OnlyFans.
But she has been told to ‘up her game’ after fellow Aussie boxer Cherneka Johnson showed up topless at Friday’s weigh-in, except for body paint that replicated the style of a sports bra.
The New Zealand-born fighter who now represents Australia will defend her IBF super bantamweight title against Ellie Scotney at London’s Wembley Arena on Saturday as part of the undercard for Sunny Edwards’ world title defense against Andres Campos.
And the day before, the 28-year-old world champion turned heads by showing up in the bold look that was also emblazoned with the OnlyFans logo.
The weigh-in, posted on Matchroom Boxing’s Twitter pageshowed Eddie Hearn with a stern face, desperate to look away despite being caught in the middle of the moment.

Aussie fighter, little Cherneka Johnson (left with finger raised) shocked the world as she weighed in for her fight against Britain’s Ellie Scotney with war paint only covering her breasts
Australian world champion Ebanie Bridges (pictured) pioneered the art of limited clothing and nonsense by talking to her fans to make huge dollars on OnlyFans
Bridges appears in virtually nothing for her pre-fight weigh-ins and this has attracted thousands of men to her social pages and OnlyFans account.
Either way, she may have been overshadowed, with Johnson’s arrival shocking and turning heads as the weigh-in’s images and vision went global.
After the stunning impact Johnson’s “reveal” made, some Bridges fans took to Twitter taunting her with comments such as “time to up your game.”
Bridges, who loved Johnson’s bold weigh-in, responded with, “We Aussies really know how to challenge at the weigh-ins.
“But it’s not a competition for me honey, I have my own game.”
Bridges is a fan of what Johnson is doing and realizes that female boxers need to do something to improve their standing in the sport.
But she also reminded Johnson that the Blonde Bomber remains the queen.
‘I love it! I love watching women embrace their femininity and make money without a f… what people they don’t even know think,” Bridges posted.
“But I’m the OG.”
Known as the Blonde Bomber, Bridges promotes body positivity and welcomes Johnson’s bold look at her latest weigh-in
Johnson overcame a bad cut above her eye to overcome compatriot Susie Ramadan to claim the IBF world title in October.
Scotney and Johnson faced each other during the pre-bout photo shoot, where they shared a stony showdown over the belt they’re competing for.
Not surprisingly, Scotney made no mention whatsoever of the Aussie’s controversial appearance, despite the fact that Scotney is a prolific social media poster.
Earlier, Johnson successfully defended her IBF world title in a brave, bloody match – before being accused of doping by defeated compatriot Susie Ramadan.
Ramadan had threatened to become upset after suffering a nasty cut above her rival’s eye in the first round, which required extensive medical attention.
However, Johnson managed to knock down Ramadan and showed no signs of injury despite the blood streaming down her face.
Johnson holds a professional career record of 15-1, with her only loss coming against Shannon O’Connell in March 2021.
She won her IBF superbantamweight belt in April 2022 and she’s putting it on the line for Saturday’s fight at Wembley.
Last year, Johnson continued to fight despite the death of her brother in a stabbing attack in Brisbane.
