Ridiculous moment when a lazy shopper dumps her cart in a parking lot with a cove just meters away – leading to a fiery confrontation
- Wife was smitten over trolley etiquette
- She parked the cart in the parking lot near the stores
- The irate driver got out to do the job properly
A ‘lazy’ shopper has been beaten up after leaving a Woolworths trolley in a car park when the bay was only yards away.
An irate motorist was turning into a car park at an Australian shopping center at noon last Thursday when she saw the woman place the empty trolley between the spot’s wheel stop and a footbridge, despite there being a trolley box a few feet away.
The trolley dumper, wearing a white shirt and brown trousers, was captured on the car’s dashcam footage walking to the parking lot to exit the Woolies trolley as the driver was about to drive it.
An irate motorist was turning into a parking bay at an Australian shopping center last Thursday when a woman placed an empty trolley between the spot’s wheelstop and a walkway (pictured), despite the troller bay being less than six feet away
The driver (pictured) got out of the car before slamming the trolley into its compartment in frustration at the customer’s lack of effort in returning it
The customer then saw the car drive into the bay, but left the trolley looking back at where she had put it.
The driver, who was dressed in black with dark sunglasses, got out of the car and was seen yelling at the woman.
She was then seen pointing to the adjacent wagon bay before angrily grabbing hold of the cart before rudely pushing it into the bay in frustration, causing the carts to crash into each other.
The altercation was posted on social media and provoked a slew of reactions aimed at the “lazy” shopper.
“The shopping cart is the ultimate litmus test of whether a person is capable of self-government,” the post’s caption read.
‘The return of the car is here! What lazy bones!’ said one commenter.
‘I like the ending [where] the driver points to show her it’s there,” said another.
“People push a cart around for half an hour and the last 30 seconds are the hardest,” joked a third.
“It’s the same people who hold a drink for 10 minutes while shopping and can’t hold it for another minute only to find a bin when they’re done, so just leave it on the shelf.”
The motorist (pictured) yelled at the woman as he pointed to the adjacent parking bay – before she yanked the cart out of the parking space and angrily shoved it into the parking bay
But another came up with an idea to take revenge on the woman with the cart.
“I should have returned the service, put the cart behind her car and stopped her from driving,” they suggested.
“All that effort of tipping the trolley over the curb and pushing it six feet must have exhausted her weekly energy boost,” one wrote.
“When you hit your step count for the day,” another commenter quipped.
Others praised the driver for her fierce reaction.
“Targeted points for aggressively ramming the trolley into the other one,” one of them said.
“Did anyone stop to check that the trolley or the other innocent trolleys in the bay were okay?” joked another.
