But the netball champion explained that her second pregnancy had ended in miscarriage late in her first trimester, the… courier post reported.

“It is with deep sadness that Niko and I confirm that I had a miscarriage,” she said.

‘I understood that I was announcing a bit early, and the risks involved. I didn’t want to disappoint my teammates, train and play pregnant and be at my best physically and mentally. It was a difficult time. I am convinced I would do the same again.”

Bueta said it has been a “very difficult time” for her and her family.

“I went through a whirlwind of emotions, cried a lot, but I was happy that Niko and Bobby were by my side every inch.”

She added that she sympathized with other women and families who have also experienced miscarriage.
