Aussie darling Pia Miranda makes shock X-rated confession on prime time TV
Beloved Australian actress Pia Miranda shocked TV audiences this week when the former child star made a confession during a live TV interview.
The 51-year-old Looking for Alibrandi actress revealed where she keeps her “adult toys” during an interview with Shaun Micallef for his ABC show Eve of Destruction, calling the items the secret to her long-lasting marriage.
In the candid interview that aired on Wednesday, Pia jokingly used the Australian children’s character Humphrey B. Bear as a euphemism for sex toys.
“You were still close to Humphrey even after you got married?” Micallef asked the actress.
“No, I still do,” Pia joked.
“Where does he live?” asked Micallef.
“He can’t sleep in bed because then my husband won’t get any action,” she admitted.
“Sometimes I take it out when my husband is gone,” she continued. “It’s just in the top closet with the nice handbags and some adult stuff.”

Pia then indicated that she kept him in the closet with the ‘adult toys’.
The The actress then turned to the audience for support, asking, “You know what I’m talking about, right?”
‘Does everyone have a great toy closet? Or am I the only one?
“Oh God, there aren’t that many people,” she joked as the audience fell silent.
The actress, who married in 2001 after a four-month relationship, joked that she keeps them in the “top cupboard” with her “beautiful handbags”
Pia, who was 26 when filming began on Looking for Alibrandi, won an AACTA Award for Best Actress in 2000 and was nominated for the FCCA Best Actor Award for her iconic role as 17-year-old Josephine Alibrandi.
In March 2001, she married her boyfriend Luke Hanigan, lead singer and guitarist of the Australian band Lo-Tel, at the Elvis Presley Chapel in Las Vegas.
Pia and Luke started dating in 2000 and married four months later.
The couple have two children: Lilly, 13, and James, 9.
