Disgusting footage of a camper washing his kitchen utensils with a garden hose at a campsite has left Australians stunned and speechless.
Jimmy Prymal filmed the camper last week while he washed his dishes with the hose, which is normally used to flush sewage from caravans and campers.
“Well, this is a new one. Look what we got here,” he said in a TikTok.
‘Have you ever seen someone mistake the dump for a camp kitchen and rinse their kitchenware and utensils with the hose you plug into your cassette at the dump?’
‘I’ve never experienced that in my life.’
The footage shows the camper crouched next to the hose while cleaning the lid of a pot.
He began to scrub the kitchen utensils vigorously with a sponge.
Social media users reacted with shock to the images.
The camper was pictured washing his kitchen utensils with the downpipe, which is used to flush sewage from caravans and campers
“Oh my god!! Kids these days aren’t that smart haha,” someone wrote.
“Now I’ve seen it all,” added another.
One of them indicated that the camper was not wearing the correct outdoor clothing.
“It goes without saying that if you go camping in an all-white outfit, you really have no idea!” they wrote.
Other comments indicated that Mr Prymal should have warned the camper not to wash his dishes with the hose from the dump.
‘Some people are new to caravanning. It would be nice and polite to ask them if they know this is a dump,’ one person wrote.
“Instead of filming it, why don’t you just be nice and show them where to go?”
“I hope you said something, they clearly don’t realize it,” wrote another.
The video cuts back to Mr. Prymal making a face of absolute disgust as he watches the camper use a dump hose to wash his dishes
Mr Prymal joked in the caption that he had encouraged the man to continue.
“I went up to the man, said hello to him, explained to him and encouraged him to continue the good work.”
He later stated that he had informed the camper of his blunder.
Other social media users reported seeing unsuspecting campers make the same mistake.
“I saw someone fill a water bottle with that hose,” one person wrote.
“I saw a couple in a rented camper van filling their water tank with that hose,” added a second.
