An Australian podcaster and business owner has publicly apologized for previously judging other women who were cheated on – after it happened to her.
Lucy Jackson, 34, revealed on TikTok that before she cheated on herself, she had the ‘mentality’ [that] only girls who let it happen or whatever had unfaithful partners.

On Saturday Lucy attended Niki Wescott’s chicken show at Marman restaurant in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.
In striking contrast to her best friend and bride-to-be, Lucy wore a strapless, sultry floor-length dress that sat low over her chest.
She paired it with minimal gold jewelry, full glam makeup and a black leather and leopard print clutch bag.
Meanwhile, Nikki beamed in a silky white slip dress that flowed over her and showed off her figure.
She paired the backless number with an iridescent clutch and statement earrings.

Earlier this month, Lucy revealed that her ex-boyfriend had left her house just two weeks after moving in and saying ‘I love you’ for the first time.
She uploaded three explanatory videos to TikTok in which she revealed she had learned he had cheated on her with “multiple women” and also urged her followers not to contact or harass her ex, who had also deactivated his public Instagram account.
In a new four-minute monologue, Lucy said she was “truly humbled” by the experience as she returned to work after her heartbreak.
“I’m going to have to keep saying this, but please don’t contact this man or say anything nasty about him,” she began.
[Posting the videos] ‘It’s about coming to terms with my own situation.
“Cheating is a very complicated thing and I will say that the cheating itself wasn’t even the thing that hurt me the most.
‘I think that good people can make mistakes and that there is always room to give people a second chance. But honesty and truth and owning your behavior are the true signs of character.
Earlier this month, Lucy revealed she found out her partner had cheated on her ‘with multiple women’ weeks after moving in
‘I really thought about other girls and women that you only get cheated on if you… Not that you would let it happen, but… I always thought that “I was the kind of person who could tell if someone was a cheater,” she said, choosing her words carefully.
‘Of course that made me think that I would never be the kind of person to be cheated on.
‘I would be very supportive if one of my friends was cheated on, but I didn’t think it would happen to me.
“Now I feel so bad about my attitude in the past when I wasn’t a girly girl.”
Lucy said she felt the need to issue a public and formal apology for her previous mindset and any harmful opinions she may have expressed on her Happy Hour podcast as a result.
“I feel so humbled and almost feel like making a public apology to the girls who were cheated on,” she said.
“I think that’s been one of the biggest lessons of this whole situation for me. I will now try to change that mentality.
She went on to say that she has thought about her opinions and discovered that cheating “says nothing about the person being cheated on.”
“It says so much about the person who committed the deception… and you’re the poor girl who happens to be in a relationship with them at the time.”
