An Aussie guy quietly enjoying a cold beer while ignoring the gale force winds immediately became a folk hero.
Footage shows the man in high-vis stoically holding a pint in his hand as tables and chairs fly around the outdoor area of the Rec Hotel in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia.
The air is thick with dust and debris, and across the street a branch is ripped from a tree and lands on a parked car.
But the carefree bar patron in the mining town of Outback moves on and just squints as chaos rages all around him.
“There are no 75 mile per hour winds stopping this trooper from enjoying a frothy and durry,” said TikTok poster vzmith.

Commentators described the bizarre clip as “purely Australian” and called him a “living legend.”
“Man has definitely seen worse. This? Just a little storm!’ someone said.
Another wrote: ‘He’s the guy who would ‘get a bit gassy’.”
‘Yes guys, perfect day to have a beer outside. Beautiful day!’ a third joked.
WA was battered by gales from about midnight on Tuesday, with the Goldfields region recording gusts of around 100km/h.
Statewide, the SES was called out 40 times to assist members of the public, while the Department of Fire and Emergency Services received more than 260 calls for assistance.
By Thursday, 10,000 homes had experienced power outages in the WA area, with the majority in the Goldfields area.
“I’m from Kal, we had no power for 24 hours after this light breeze,” someone commented in the comments of the TikTok video.
