The longtime entertainer kept warm in a long beige wool trench coat with large side pockets and an open collar.

She had several handbags on one arm and was also carrying a deep purple leather crossbody bag.

The performer, who has a background in improvisation, was makeup-free beneath her sunglasses and dressed in a black turtleneck.

The Golden Globe nominee added light wash straight leg jeans to her look and accentuated the ensemble with white Air Force 1 sneakers.

A few days ago, Plaza engaged in a steamy make-out session in a promo clip for her impending late-night hosting duties.

Unlike more low-key SNL promos, the clip was more strictly edited and filmed.

It started with SNL regular Chloe Fineman showing off her signature impressions, which inspired Aubrey to reveal some of her own impressions before leaning in for a passionate kiss while revealing that she had dreamed of hosting SNL since she was a child.

“Oh my gosh, I love your impressions,” Aubrey said after Chloe talked to her about her upcoming hosting job as they chatted in the audience bleachers.

“Drew Barrymore is my favorite,” she said, following her spirited interview on the actress’s daytime talk show.

‘OMG, that’s so sweet!’ Chloe said, perfectly mimicking Drew’s voice and facial expressions.

“But Chloe, you’re not the only one who can do impressions,” Aubrey replied mischievously. You are going to love this one.

We are painters, Pollock. We do not have money! And you – you need, you need, and I’m not going to drag a baby into it! she yelled, while Chloe looked shocked and she couldn’t place the lines.

“It was a bit intense,” he said. ‘Do you have someone who is a little more fun?’

A beaming Aubrey agreed to try another print, though it was no lighter than the first.

On different pages: 'Yeah, you got it!' Aubrey said, sounding bubbly and oddly optimistic after Chloe guessed correctly.

He started screaming and slapping himself, which Chloe recognized as the dark scene from American Beauty’s Annette Bening after a failed attempt to sell a house.

‘If you have it!’ Aubrey said, sounding bubbly and oddly optimistic.

Dramatic chords suddenly became audible as Aubrey responded, “Because I’m crazy and I’ve been waiting to do this show since I was twelve.”

Chloe replied, ‘What’s going on?’ when Aubrey approached her for a dramatic kiss.

But then the music cut out and the camera switched to a janitor stopping his vacuum cleaner to watch the two women kissing on top of him in the stands.
