Diddy’s former protégé Aubrey O’Day has exposed his alleged controlling behavior on reality show Making The Band – amid the rapper’s sex trafficking allegations
The 40-year-old Danity Kane singer – who first met Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2005 on the third season of the hit series – claimed the musician ‘pimped’ her – seen with Diddy and bandmates Shannon Bex, Wanita Woodgett, Aundrea Fimbres and Dawn Richard in 2006
‘I once got kicked out of a studio session because my toes weren’t polished properly.’
She claimed Diddy called her the ‘looker of the band’ and alleged ‘grooming’ were part of his alleged cycle of abuse.
She said: “After I finished Diddy, there aren’t many people I can walk into a room with and get that high. Grooming is a process, they don’t just abuse you on day one. They make you feel like you’re getting little nuggets that appeal to you and excite you, and then once they have your attention, they let you know more about yourself in different ways.”
“It’s like the military: they break you down and build you back up into the soldier they need for the country they want you to fight for.”
Asked for her thoughts on Diddy’s high-profile arrest for sex trafficking, amid claims the musician hosted “freak off” sex parties, she said: “Oh, I don’t think I’m there yet. I’ll have to see how it ends.
“That’s really going to happen. That gives everyone a chance to talk about what… I know my friend is going through… but I can’t talk about that.
“Right now I’m dealing with the insults and the comments and whatever. I’m saying what I can, and what was clear to the world, and what everyone already saw, nothing new. And then I think as this goes on, I pray that people find freedom and get more clarity about their stories, because victims can talk to victims, even that can’t be done. [now.]
She added that she believes “there are a lot more victims. There’s a lot more crazy shit. As this unfolds, more people will be heard.”

Earlier this month, O’Day revealed that she finally feels “validated” after years of speaking out against her former mentor Combs.
She spoke out after Diddy was indicted by a grand jury on sex trafficking, extortion and prostitution charges.
Homeland Security officials arrested the rap mogul at the Park Hyatt hotel in downtown Manhattan.
The indictment, which relates to allegations dating back to 2008, accuses him of abusing, threatening and coercing women for years “to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct.”
So far, Diddy has denied the claims and offered a $50 million bond in hopes of making bail. But a judge denied his request for bail and ruled that he must wait in jail until his trial begins.
In a post on X, Aubrey described the legal action as a “victory for women” around the world.
“The purpose of Justice is to provide closure and give us space to create a new chapter. Women never get this,” O’Day wrote on X on Monday.
“I feel validated. Today is a victory for women all over the world, not just me,” she continued, adding, “Things are finally changing.”
