Attack on Titan Final Season leak appears to reveal the finale’s release date

The Attack on Titan For years, anime has felt like it’s coming to an end, and technically it is. Attack on Titan final season debuted in 2020, and it has been Last season-joined ever since. But thanks to an apparent leak, we may finally know when the real ending will come. According to the leak Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters Special 2 will apparently debut on November 4, ultimately marking the end of the long-running anime and concluding the story.

The leak comes via an unregistered YouTube video on the YouTube channel of Japanese media company Pony Canyon, which was spotted by Twitter user kles7_. It appears the video includes a teaser poster with still images, as well as the actual release date in the description. While no official word has been received yet, this date certainly seems plausible.

MAPPA took the Attack on Titan anime starting with Last seasonafter WIT Studio animated the three seasons before. Last season was divided into three separate parts. The first two largely functioned as regular anime seasons, but the third part was split into two extra-long episodes called Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters Special 1 And Special 2. In the meantime, Attack on Titan‘s manga ended in April 2021.

We don’t know exactly what time Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters Special 2 will air, if it really does release on November 4, or even where it can be streamed. The most likely location would be Crunchyroll, where the previous episodes were from The last season have premiered and where the English dub is Special 1 started streaming on Sunday, but we won’t know anything for sure until an official announcement.
