AT&T goes down across the US with users reporting issues with phone service

AT&T has gone bankrupt in the US, leaving Americans without phones or internet.

Downdetector, a site that monitors online outages, shows that the mobile giant’s problems started around 1:00 PM ET.

Users have reported problems with mobile phone and internet and landline internet.

AT&T has more than 115 million users in the US, but the number of people affected by Wednesday’s outage is unknown.
