Atletico Madrid have announced the price they are willing to sell Joao Felix for this summer.

The forward is expected to return to Atlético on July 26 for pre-season training after representing Portugal at Euro 2024.

However, Atletico, and also manager Diego Simeone, are keen for Felix’s future to be clear before that date.

Felix, 24, has been playing for Atlético since 2019, having joined from Benfica for £114million.

After spending the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Chelsea, Felix joined Barcelona for the 2023-24 season, with the Catalan club keen to re-sign him.

Barcelona are interested in Felix, but only want to pursue a new loan move

According to BrandAtletico only want to sell Felix permanently and are not considering any further loan deals. This would leave Barcelona out of the running to sign him as they want a new temporary deal.

The report reveals that Atlético have set a sale price of €60 million (£50 million) for Felix.

Atlético is keen to raise money to sign big names.

Villa are interested in a deal for Felix, who scored 10 goals for Barcelona last season, with Unai Emery’s side likely to meet Atletico’s asking price.

During his time at Atletico, Felix played 131 games and scored 34 goals. He provided 18 assists.

Felix played twice at Euro 2024, but missed the penalty shootout in which Portugal were knocked out by France in the quarter-finals.
