Atletico Madrid have confirmed the arrival of Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher for £34million
Gallagher looked set to complete his transfer last week after agreeing personal terms, but his move was halted by the Blues’ bankruptcy of Atlético’s Samu Omorodion.
The 24-year-old returned to Cobham where he trained independently as he nervously awaited the completion of the deal
And with Joao Felix set to return to West London for good, the home-grown Chelsea player has made the move to the Spanish capital.
The midfielder, who joined Chelsea at the age of eight, is Diego Simeone’s fourth signing of the summer.
