She stood up in the middle of the event and walked to the front of the stage before ranting after her child didn’t win anything.
The person presenting the award had to apologize to those present and tried to de-escalate the situation.
The incident was captured on video and shared with X, where it was viewed more than 500,000 times.

In the clip, the mother can be heard shouting at the person presenting the prizes, but it is not clear what she is saying.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for what we are seeing now,” the school employee says before the women shout even louder.
“I’ll talk to you,” he says, trying to calm her down. “Mom, we can look at it again.”
The mother then shouts ‘let’s go’ to her son and he is seen following her outside the auditorium.
The school official then apologizes again to the crowd for the unrest caused.
It is not clear at which school the incident occurred and why the child did not receive an award.
