Nico Williams was one of the best players on the pitch for Bilbao that night, which is likely to pique the interest of a number of clubs.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino‘s side are looking to strengthen their attacking options after yet another frustrating season, with The Blues currently in ninth place.

Should Chelsea make a move, Williams has a release clause in his current contract worth around £43 million.

Williams is reportedly currently earning over £100,000 a week after tax in Spain, which could put him among Chelsea’s highest earners if he makes the move to Stamford Bridge.

Williams is known to play on the left flank, which has been occupied by Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk this season.
