At least 30 cars crash in massive pileup on icy Interstate 30 near Wisconsin: Flames erupt from truck

At least 30 vehicles were involved in an icy interstate crash Friday morning near Janesville, Wisconsin.

Videos uploaded to social media show flames shooting out of a truck in the crash, though no injuries have been reported.

Northbound I-39/90 is now closed beyond the County S ramp and Woodman Road, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).

The response has been updated to a second alarm level incident.

They are just being called Electrical Muscle Stimulators.

A Rock County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post Friday afternoon read: “Avoid northbound and southbound Interstate 90 in Rock County at this time.”

“Our staff is currently handling several multi-vehicle accidents and subsequent crashes.”

This is a developing story.
