Asus bets big on creative tablet powered by Qualcomm’s fastest CPU yet: the ProArt PZ13 weighs just 850 grams and has a full-size detachable keyboard, but no discrete GPU
Asus took the virtual stage at the annual Computex expo and unveiled a range of new high-performance ProArt laptops, including the ultra-compact and ultra-portable ProArt PZ13 model.
Positioned as a versatile tool for hybrid and mobile creatives, the 13-inch model features a detachable keyboard, allowing it to be completely transformed into a powerful, AI-enhanced tablet.
Like the two other ProArt models released at the event, the ProAt PZ13 will be sold as a Copilot+ laptop, meaning it will join Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung in offering more than 40 TOPS for powerful devices on the device AI.

With a look more like a tablet, but with components more tailored to high-performance laptops, the ProArt PZ13 goes head-to-head with the new Microsoft Surface Pro, also a Copilot+ PC.
Certifying it as an AI-enabled model, the PZ13 uses a Snapdragon X-series processor with up to 16GB of LPLLR5 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage.
It features a 2880×1800 3K OLED display, a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP IR front camera. Ports are basic and consist of a pair of USB4 Type-C connections and an SD card reader. Physical volume buttons are also built into the design and connectivity is made possible by Wi-Fi 7.
The key to its success will be its almost feather-light weight of 850 grams, making it lighter than both the Surface Pro (900 grams) and other convertible and tablet-style laptops.
An IP52 rating promises a high level of protection against the elements, but while it’s not completely waterproof, it’s been tested between -30 and 70 degrees Celsius, at 4,000 meters and in direct sunlight, making it a good choice for anyone spending any amount spends anyway. of time outdoors.
