Astros star Justin Verlander did not hesitate to strike out against Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora on Tuesday night.

During Houston’s 7-3 victory over the Red Sox, Verlander was heard telling the Red Sox skipper to “f*** off” when he took the field.

The Astros pitcher was experiencing problems with his PitchCom device and drafted the game because a new device was brought to him on the field.

Verlander’s problems caused what appeared to be a dispute over a pitch clock violation and he could be seen talking to an umpire, while an Astros teammate first brought him an initial new PitchCom, which again had to be changed as it was in Spanish.

Cora, clearly annoyed by the delay, came out of the dugout to plead for an automatic ball.

The dispute did not affect the pitcher from Houston, who struckout nine batters in the season

“You shook it off five times,” Cora was heard to say as he walked out, seemingly implying there was no real problem with the device.

And Verlander didn’t take the Boston manager’s stoppage too kindly, saying, “I didn’t shake that at-bat.” Fuck off, Alex.’

The night didn’t get much better for Cora, as he and right fielder Alex Verdugo were both ejected for feuding balls and batting, while the Red Sox lost a second straight game in Houston.

Verdugo was ejected in the top of the fourth by umpire Pat Hoberg, who also threw out Cora after the manager objected to the call of ball four to Alex Bregman in the bottom of the seventh.

It was the second lockout in three games for Cora, who stood at the plate and kicked dirt before screaming in Hoberg’s face after he was thrown.

Meanwhile, Verlander (9-6) gave up five hits and struckout a season nine in his fourth start since returning to the Astros in a trade with the Mets.
