Yankees-starter Luis Severino didn’t make many mistakes in his outing, striking out six and giving up only five hits.

But it was a 1-2 pitch with two outs in the bottom of the third inning for Alex Bregman who saw the third baseman launch a homerun into the stands of Minute Maid Park to lead 3-0.

That was all it took, as Astros-starter Framber Valdez struckout nine batters, while giving up only two runs in his seven innings. However, that was all it took as Houston managed to win 3-2 and took a two game lead to nothing.

Alex Bregman (R) hit a three-run homer that was the only runs needed in the 3-2 win

Astros starter Framber Valdez fanned out to nine and gave up only four hits in the winning attempt
