Aston Villa are reportedly set to match Newcastle for the signing of Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney this summer.
Tierney has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates and looks ready to leave the club in search of consistent first-team football.
Newcastle looked to be in pole position to secure its services, but The times Claim Villa is also seriously interested.
Manager Unai Emery brought Tierney to the Emirates in 2019 when he was in charge of the Gunners and remains an admirer of the Scot.
