Aston Villa have made an enquiry for Wolves’ Leander Dendoncker as they search for re-enforcements today.
Dendoncker saw an approach from Everton rebuffed earlier in the week and is keen to leave Molineux for more game time.
Villa, who are braced for offers for Douglas Luiz today, also asked about Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher on Wednesday but the 22-year-old has eight Premier League clubs waiting to see whether his club will allow him out today.

Dendoncker has made five appearances for Wolves this season but has not started any of their last three top-flight games.
Gallagher meanwhile started in Chelsea’s recent Premier League games against Leeds and Leicester but was sent off against the Foxes.
The Belgium and England internationals though could be a replacement for Luiz, with Liverpool having been sounded out about a move for the Brazilian.

The Reds want a midfielder of physical presence who won’t cut across the arrival of Jude Bellingham next summer.
Luiz’s current deal at Villa Park is set to expire next summer but the 24-year-old could be set for an early exit after picking up interest from Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League giants.
The German manager is eager to add a midfielder to his ranks before the transfer window closes after being without without the injured Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Curtis Jones.
