Aston Villa is in talks to sign right back Kosta Nedeljkovia from Red Star Belgrade.
The 18-year-old is a Serbia U19 international and will cost around £8m, with a 15 per cent sell-on clause being negotiated.
Nedeljkovic only broke into the first team last summer and is expected to stay at Red Star until the end of the season.
Nedeljkovic made his first-team debut in August.
This season he played twelve league matches.

He also made four appearances in the Champions League in group stage matches against RB Leipzig, Manchester City and Young Boys.
Unai Emery’s team has been looking for right backs for some time.
Matty Cash is currently the only recognized right-back in the squad, while Ezri Konsa has played in that position extensively this season.
