Jhon Duran called Bayern Munich the ‘club of my dreams’ after firing Aston Villa to victory against the Bavarian giants.

Despite making a flying start to the season, Duran has made just one start in all competitions for Unai Emery’s side and was once again on the bench when Villa Park hosted the Bundesliga club.

With the score still tied at 0-0 in the closing stages, the 20-year-old was brought on as a replacement for Ollie Watkins and promptly continued his incredible form in front of goal.

After a through ball from Pau Torres’ defense, Duran picked Manuel Neuer off his line and slid his shot over the goalkeeper to send the crowd into pandemonium.

Speaking after the match, Duran described the experience of scoring such a crucial goal as dream-like.
