Aston Villa will face Ajax in the last sixteen of the Europa Conference League, with Jordan Henderson playing against an English club for the first time since leaving Liverpool.
Henderson takes on Villa after Ajax battled through the play-off round against Bodo/Glimt, while Unai Emery’s side qualified straight for this stage after topping their group.
He left Liverpool in the summer for Saudi side Al-Ettifaq but moved to the Dutch team in January after unrest in the Middle East.
Ajax welcome Villa on March 7 before traveling to the Midlands on March 14.
It will be a clash between arguably the two biggest sides left in the competition, although last year’s finalists Fiorentina are still left, as are Lille and Fenerbahce.

Henderson, who has been appointed captain of Ajax, has played 22 times against Villa in his career, winning 13 games, losing five and drawing four.
Although Villa are the only British side left in the Europa Conference League, there are four left in the Europa League.
Liverpool, Henderson’s former club, drew against Sparta Prague earlier today in the last sixteen of the Europa League.
Meanwhile, West Ham will do battle with Freiburg, Brighton will dance with Roma and Rangers will try to thwart Portuguese leaders Benfica.
