Asian Games LIVE updates: Kabaddi event begins; Indian shuttlers in action

On Day 9 (October 2) of the 2023 Asian Games, the Indian women’s team will begin their campaign in the continental tournament as they take on Chinese Taipei. While the Indian men’s hockey team will face Bangladesh in their final group match. In the medal events, India will be hoping for medals from their Caneo contingent before the athletics final events begin in the evening. Day 9 of the Asian Games also marks the start of the badminton events in singles, doubles and mixed doubles, starting at 7:30 am IST. Meanwhile, in another historic match, Indian rowers Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee will be in action in the semi-final against Koreans in women’s doubles.
