Fitness influencer Ashy Bines gives health update following brain aneurysm diagnosis

Fitness influencer Ashy Bines has given friends and fans a health update after recently revealing she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.

The Queensland mother-of-two, 35, posted to her Instagram Story on Tuesday evening, announcing her MRI results came back clear and she has since returned home.

‘They said it’s unlikely the aneurysm will rupture or bleed at its current size, but I’ll be back in three months to monitor it. “I’ve lost a grandmother and an uncle to this, so it’s something I’ll have to get checked regularly for the rest of my life,” she told her followers.

“They have said that stress caused my vision loss and migraines and that it has slowed down,” Bines added.

The 35-year-old said she will scale back her work commitments and training regime in the future.

‘My focus will be slower, allowing my team to step in more to help and we are in the process of changing the way we run our business to support me more and take some of the pressure off… I need to listening to these things are signs of my body’.

She told how her husband Steve Evans was ‘incredible’ and ‘supportive’ throughout the process and thanked fans for their continued support.

She shared the shocking news on Instagram on Monday, revealing it was discovered when she went to hospital after losing her sight.

Bines posted a video of herself arriving with her family and captioned it with some alarming words: “I have lost my vision three times in the last week. Decided to see a doctor because we were starting to worry.

‘I did a CT scan, they found a small aneurysm. Pretty scary because husband Steve had a huge one removed and I have this in my family too. I lost a young uncle and a grandmother to an aneurysm.

She added that she would be putting her other commitments on hold for now as she focused on getting better.

I need to reduce my life, workload and stress. Once we have the results of the MRI, we will discuss what happens next with my aneurysm and what else we can do.’
