Ashlyn Harris and Sophia Bush ‘shared kisses throughout the night’ at Ruby Rose’s 38th birthday celebrations in LA – as ex-US soccer star moves on after bitter divorce from ex-player Ali Krieger

Former American football star Ashlyn Harris enjoyed a great night out in Los Angeles this week with new girlfriend Sophia Bush, in honor of actress Ruby Rose’s 38th birthday.

Harris, who was a goalkeeper for the USWNT, and movie star Bush were tagged in a number of photos that Rose shared on Instagram from her night out with some close friends at Magic Castle.

And according to Page sixHarris and Bush were a very happy couple when they joined the party.

“They were very affectionate and shared kisses throughout the night,” Page Six quoted a source as saying. “They seem very happy.”

It comes days after the couple were first pictured together at Elton John’s Oscars party earlier in March.

Last year, Harris and ex-wife, fellow footballer Ali Krieger, announced their divorce

Harris, 38, split from fellow football star Ali Kreiger last year and was forced to deny cheating on her with 41-year-old Bush.

In an emotional Instagram statement last November, Harris wrote: “Ending a relationship after nearly thirteen years of friendship, teamship, marriage and co-parenting (many of which were good years) is a decision not made lightly.

“We agreed to place our children in the center, continue therapy, separate and move on with our lives. Two happy families are always better than one unhappy family. This process is never easy, but we got through it.

“Let me be clear: I have not given up on my marriage. I was always faithful in my marriage, even though I was not always completely happy. As in many partnerships, there was work and therapy and processing done. None of this happened on a whim.

“What has made this complex and difficult experience more difficult than I could have imagined is that an entire community has turned against me as I went through this.”

Harris and Krieger adopted two children together – a boy and a girl – and married on December 28, 2019 in Miami, nine months after revealing their engagement.

They met in 2010 when they were both part of a USWNT training camp.

Harris has made 25 appearances for the US as a goalkeeper, while Krieger, a defender, has made 108 appearances at international level for her country, winning two World Cups each in 2015 and 2019.

Bush, meanwhile, divorced her ex-husband Grant Hughes in August 2023 after 13 months of marriage.

And in January, she posted her own reflective statement on Instagram.
