Ashley Tisdale gives birth to her second child! High School Musical star, 39, shares first look at newborn and reveals unique baby name
Ashley Tisdale welcomed her second child with her husband, Christopher French, on Friday.
On Saturday, the 39-year-old High School Musical alumnus and her husband announced she had given birth, sharing a first look at their newborn baby in a joint social media post.
The actress shared a photo on Instagram of herself, her husband and their first child, three-year-old daughter Jupiter, holding the tiny and precious hand of their newest family member.
In her caption, Tisdale revealed that their daughter’s name is “Emerson Clover French.”
“All three of us are obsessed with you 9.6.24,” she wrote alongside a four-leaf clover emoji in her short but sweet note.

The arrival of the happy couple’s newest family member comes after Tisdale announced her pregnancy in March.
At the time, she shared on social media that she and French were expecting their second child.
The couple, who married in September 2014, welcomed their first child, Jupiter, in March 2021.
Just a few weeks earlier, she had shared that she “couldn’t wait to have the baby” in the third trimester, having been suffering from morning sickness for some time.
The former Disney Channel star expressed her frustration over her “exhaustion,” explaining that her adenovirus infection had turned into a sinus infection and she had been sick for three weeks.
Adenovirus infections, which can be mild to severe, usually affect the respiratory system and symptoms can resemble those of a common cold or flu, the Cleveland Clinic.
Fortunately, mother and baby appear to be doing well and the family is happy with their newest addition, who had a safe delivery.
