Ashley Tisdale thinks it’s “so amazing” that she gets to experience the holidays as a family of four, just two months after giving birth.
The High School Musical star, 39 – who welcomed her second daughter Emerson Clover in September – opened up to People about letting go during the holidays as a new mother of two children and incorporating ‘chaos’.
The actress also discussed their “adorable” first family portraits with their newborn daughter, which she posted Instagram.
“It’s pretty wild, but it’s so much fun,” she said of her growing family.
“It was pretty amazing. It’s so cool to see. It feels like the baby has been there the whole time, so it feels so great.”

Discussing her new family portraits, which she teased on her Christmas cards, she revealed that she never before imagined she would have two daughters wearing matching outfits.
“I think it really captured where we are in life, which is just pure chaos,” she admits.
“So it was a little chaotic, but I was just really excited. It’s funny, I didn’t think I would be that mom who gave the girls matching clothes, and I was 100% excited to buy these two outfits that matched.”
The doting mom said, “It was really cute, and Juju loved it so much too.”
The Suite Life star also shared that the photo shoot took place on a beach in Malibu – a city that is “such a special place” for her and husband Christopher French, 42.
She recalled, “It’s just so calming, and especially in these moments when we’re trying to balance everything, it’s always so nice to just get out there.” It has to be here.’
Tisdale, who shares three-year-old Jupiter and her two-month-old son with French, claimed the location made it difficult for her ‘three-nager’ to stay calm.
‘Jupiter is the age she looks, we call it a ‘threenager’. She’s a full-on teenager and she’s three, and she’s just sassy,” she told the outlet.
“She’s a very good kid, but she definitely has her moments. There are times when Jupiter says, “No pictures. Don’t take pictures of me.” So I’m like, “Oh God, I hope we don’t get that side of Juju today.”
The Saving Santa voice actress said Jupiter was “doing really well,” but “at some point she just started saying, I don’t really want to do this anymore.”
She added, “So Chris put her on his shoulders, and I think this photo really represents where we are. Where it’s just a matter of going with the flow and giving in to the chaos.’

The former Disney star also revealed that little Emerson is “literally a copy of Juju.”
Recalling the moment Jupiter met her little sister, she said, “I think she was more ready than we thought – I was nervous.”
‘She really is such a sweet big sister. She just sits there and wants to hold her little sister and spend tummy time with her, and she’s just so loving,” Tisdale said.
“It was almost like she knew she was meant to be a big sister. It was so cute.’
