Is YOUR partner a cheater? If they do any of these jobs, they are more likely to be unfaithful

Experts have finally found the answer to the age-old question: What does an impostor look like?

Hundreds of relationship therapists have delved into the reasons why people cheat, but few have thought about what a typical cheater does for a living.

Professionals at Ashley Madison, a dating site for married people, say that CHeating engineers typically have average jobs, earning less than $75,000 per year.

A survey of more than 2,600 website members found that the men who cheat most often are craftsmen, technicians, engineers, sales managers and construction workers.

On the other hand, women who cheat often work in healthcare, for example as a nurse, teacher, marketing manager, housewife or catering employee.

The analysis also found that birth order, zodiac sign, occupation and the number of children a person has all influence how susceptible a person is to infidelity.

The average Ashley Madison member has 1 or 2 children, is the oldest of their siblings, and has a moderate (but not particularly dramatic) relationship with their long-term partner.

Most men and women who cheat are married with children. More than a third of Ashley Madison members have children between the ages of 18 and 25.

Professionals at Ashley Madison, a dating site for married people, shared that there isn’t much difference between the average person and a cheater

According to experts, these are ‘older parents who have left home with their children and want to fill their lives elsewhere’.

A relationship therapist has also revealed what cheaters are looking for outside of their relationships – and it’s not just sex.

Experts found that people on Ashley Madison are looking for more than just a one-night stand. They want the dating site to deliver something long-term.

“When people want to cheat, they choose between two types of partners: someone who is exactly like them, or someone whose personality is the complete opposite of theirs,” Dr Tammy Nelson, sex and relationship therapist, told FEMAIL.

“Finding someone with a different temperament and background can be intriguing and exciting. Meanwhile, someone with similar traits can feel familiar, which can make it more comfortable if someone is nervous or unsure about starting an affair.”
