Ashley Judd gave fans a health update on Saturday when she took to Instagram to share that she’s walking again after suffering a serious leg injury in February 2021.
The 55-year-old actress – who was mourning the death of mother Naomi Judd – showed fans photos of herself standing and walking in Switzerland.
Judd wrote in a caption to her 642,000 followers, “Walking. Switzerland. After 5 fractures in my right leg, a paralyzed foot, possible amputation, all while bleeding, my leg and I have come a long way in 2.5 years since my accident in the Democratic Republic of Congo.”
In the carousel of images, the star smiled from ear to ear as she stood in front of a waterfall in the Alps.
‘We came far up these Alps, for the sheer joy of it, confident. Continued gratitude of deep proportions to the Congolese who saved me, and the surgeons, neurologist and physiotherapist who prepared me for this amazing recovery,” Ashley added in the note.

The She Said actress wore a large floppy hat that shielded her from the sun’s rays.
Ashley also wore white socks, faded red Nike sneakers, and the strap of a white sports bra came out from under her shirt.
Her long, dark hair was tied back in a low ponytail that hung down her back.

The captivating photos showed a blue sky with fluffy white clouds, butterflies, walking sticks and waterfalls.
