Ashley Jensen flashes her huge diamond ring for the first time at the Scottish BAFTA Awards with husband Kenny Doughty days after they secretly tied the knot
Ashley Jensen showed off her huge diamond ring for the first time on Sunday as she attended the Scottish BAFTA Awards in Glasgow with her husband Kenny Doughty.
The actress, 54, recently secretly married fellow actor Kenny, 48, in a ‘super fun’ and ’emotional’ ceremony in front of a close group of family and friends in Bath.
The newlyweds looked in love as they posed on the red carpet at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, with Ashley purposefully flashing the rock on her left hand.
Ashley looked every inch the happy bride as she wore a stunning royal blue dress, while Kenny looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
Her dress featured a vibrant ruffled neckline and accentuated her slim figure with the bodycon style.

The duo seemed to be in good spirits as they settled into their new life as a married couple.
Ashley’s joyful news comes six years after she faced the devastating tragedy of losing her husband to suicide.
The star, who is currently starring as DI Ruth Calder in BBC drama Shetland, had her wedding at the historic Priston Mill near Bath, according to The Mail On Sunday.
Friends say Ashley, who made her name as Ricky Gervais’ sidekick Maggie in Extras and in US sitcom Ugly Betty, ‘barely stopped smiling all day’ and wore a stunning off-white dress with floral embroidery paired with coral platform sandals.
Former Vera star Doughty, who met the actress on the set of 2017 BBC drama Love, Lies And Records, also beamed at the August 9 ceremony as she dressed in a powder blue suit with matching suede loafers.
“The day looked absolutely beautiful,” said a friend. “Ashley looked so, so happy. She smiled and laughed, it was just idyllic. There seemed to be so much love in that room.”
The pair were joined by Ashley’s son Francis, 14, from her marriage to late husband Terence Beesley, who wore a floral tie that matched Kenny’s.
Ashley sparked speculation she was engaged to Kenny after she wore a ring and tried to cover her left hand on the Graham Norton Show earlier this month.

A source said: ‘He has been a huge support to her over the years. They make a beautiful couple and all their friends are very happy for them.’
Photos from their wedding day were taken by local photographer Martin Dabek, who posted a selection on his Instagram page. Mr. Dabek wrote.
‘This time I can’t share any images of the couple. What I can say is that there are [sic] super nice and relaxed couple who are also famous actors!’
The wedding was all the more poignant given the grief faced by Ashley – who once again starred opposite Ricky Gervais in his award-winning After Life, a tragicomic portrait of a man struggling to cope with the aftermath of his wife’s death from breast cancer .
It was in November 2017 that The Bill and EastEnders actor Terence Beesley, Ashley’s partner of 18 years whom she had married in 2007, took his own life aged 60 at the home they shared with their son in Somerset .
Ashley found his body in the family’s Mercedes after returning from a day out with Francis, then eight.
She told an inquest the following year: ‘Terry and I had been together for 18 years but I had no idea he was capable of what he did.’
