A teacher allegedly murdered by her Bumble date was found dead on her bedroom floor with bruises around her neck and injuries to her face, police will allege in court.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that detectives are investigating whether Dannielle Finlay-Jones, 31, may have been strangled by shopkeeper Ashley Gaddie, 33, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It can also be revealed that a friend who was at the property that night told detectives that she heard a commotion coming from the room that night, according to court documents.
Gaddie is accused of murdering Mrs Finlay-Jones, a football administrator and respected teacher, at her friend’s house in western Sydney that night.
Police will allege that she introduced Gaddie to her companions at the Marsden Brewhouse pub that same night.

A resident of the home told police he heard a commotion between the two at the Cranebrook home after the couple returned to the property, near Penrith.
Ms Finlay-Jones’s friend did not find her body on the bedroom floor until 2:30 pm that day, according to court documents seen by police sources.
Gaddie had allegedly escaped through the property’s window.
The revelations from police sources come as a witness who saw Ms Finlay-Jones and Gaddie in the pub on Saturday night shed light on their last hours alive.
A staff member told Daily Mail Australia that, from an outsider’s perspective, they appeared to be a couple as they stood shoulder to shoulder chatting with their friends.
The worker said Gaddie seemed like an “average Western Sydney guy” and “more or less reserved”, while Ms Finlay-Jones did most of the talking amongst the group.
“It was the first time I had seen them there,” the employee said.
‘[When the news of his arrest broke] I recognized him right away by his tattoos.
I felt a bit surprised.
Ms Finlay-Jones, 31, (pictured) has been remembered by loved ones as a ‘beautiful soul’.
Gaddie was arrested at Fletcher’s Lookout in the Blue Mountains shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
A 12-hour standoff ensued with special police units who convinced him to dive to safety from the top of a cliff.
Later that day, he was charged with murder and faced a hearing at Penrith Local Court, where his lawyer launched a legal fight to prevent crucial DNA evidence from being used against him in the case.
Police received a provisional warrant to take DNA samples from Gaddie, which took place shortly after his arrest.
In court, Gaddie did not request bail and remained in custody until March 3.
The decision on the admissibility of the DNA sample was also deferred until that date. He has not filed any allegations.

Meanwhile, tributes have continued to pour in online for Ms Finlay-Jones, who was a beloved student learning support officer for the NSW Department of Education and a pioneer of women’s football.
Kane Helmers, a lifelong friend, said that as a child, Ms Finlay-Jones had a greater interest in caring for other children outside of football fields, but later became a “role model and spokesperson for women in sport.
She lovingly recalled her fond memories, including Mrs. Finlay-Jones’s “enthusiastic dance,” her “fear of magpies,” her “awful singing voice in the car,” as well as their late-night conversations and “attempts to to dress up.”
“Your dedication to your work with the children to help them have a better life is second to none, it was never about you, just what you can give to help them,” she wrote online.
‘Your smile and fun-loving attitude would light up the darkest rooms wherever you go. Your kindness was shared among everyone you met.
‘These are just small amounts of good that you added to this world.’
Mr. Helmers said he would always cherish their friendship and memories of 25 years and had no doubt that she was partying in heaven.
“I know you’re up there right now, drink in hand, in the middle of a dance floor screaming ‘I want to dance with someone’ at the top of your lungs after making sure Spice Girls is the next song,” he continued.
“I hope every cheeseburger you have has a minimum of 6 pickles and Disney movies are constantly playing for you.
‘You will always be in my heart and in the hearts of all who knew you.
‘Until we meet again, keep smiling.’
