Meanwhile, Brewer has made several appearances on ‘SportsCenter’ since September 2020, having previously served as host for ‘SportsNation’ and co-host of ESPN Radio’s Sunday night edition of ‘GameNight’.

However, as part of ESPN’s ongoing rollout of budget cuts and layoffs, Brewer was fired last week.

She revealed she was part of the cuts in a tweet last week, which also teased her marriage.

“I am so thankful for my time with ESPN and the opportunity to host Sportscenter. I’ve learned and grown so much as a broadcaster and as a person,” said Brewer.

“I will really miss all the wonderful friends I made along the way. I know God has a plan for my life and I look forward to what’s to come.”

Last week saw a massive culling for ESPN as more than 20 on-air talents, including Brewer, were dropped from their ranks.

Kellerman also hosted a radio show with longtime NFL analyst Keyshawn Johnson and NBA analyst Jay Williams – both of whom were also fired.

Other big names leaving include Suzy Kolber, longtime host of Monday Night Countdown, as well as her co-host of that show, Hall-of-Famer quarterback Steve Young.

Kolber wrote on Twitter: “Today I join the many hard-working colleagues who have been laid off.
